Holly Glassington investigates the movements and actions made by the body, which she captures through mark making. Her work reflects traces of the body through paint rather than an actual form. Her work also involves an element of control and chance, which is captured using both traditional and untraditional objects in a technique involving the extension of the body. In a fight for control, her work documents these movements and this battle for control can be reflected in the application and juxtaposition of the paint.
