HANA LHARRI

Hana Lharri explores the prominence of social media and its influence on us as individuals, which has led to the inability to connect intimately in the height of communication and technology. Previously working on a series of immersive installations and performances, which required audience participation; she critiqued the ability to reform and recreate your identity using online mediums, the control that technology is having over our lives and the trust we place into an unknown territory. From all she has learnt so far, she intends to create an alluring structure that will continue to question the choices of the audience to participate in invasive forms of technology, such as social networking. Aiming to make them aware of how much of our private lives are being brought into the public sector, whilst discovering that by using natural materials she can relegate the technological jargon into its simplest conceptual form.
