CAITLIN HYATT

Caitlin Hyatt investigates what various elements contribute towards the sense of home, having spent her childhood relocating from one house to another and therefore lacking the belonging and stability that can occur from growing up in a fixed family home. As rooms change shape and interior designs alter, these places begin to blur until she can no longer differentiate the reality of them from the fragmented recollections. Reflecting on personal experiences of home through place and memory, she aims to create work that resonates this, whilst provoking a sentimental feeling for the individual viewer.
